Brendan is a Mack man… He loves them! The diesel mechanic jumps behind the wheel of his father in law, Richard Wilken’s International with 318 dodge every race meeting.

His truck is a bit of a blank canvas, he has had plans for quite a while to paint it up, but being a mechanic, he spends most of his spare time keeping the other trucks and cars on the track for the Wilken’s team.

Brendan has been racing for about 10 years and like most mechanics, started out having a drive in the mechanics races and then got hooked!

When I asked Brendan about any bingles, he told me, “nah – nothing serious… But I wrecked a section of the wall once that had to be replaced”. “Oh and I mounted ‘Pink Bits’ once, (a retired race truck) and was dragged half way around the track before the driver worked out I was getting a ride”.
