The roar of V8 engines will return to Blue Ribbon Raceway this Saturday featuring Round 9 of the Sprintcar Allstars.
Twenty three cars have nominated to compete in the second last round for the season.
The All Star championship is tightly contested with only 21 points between the top three drivers. Corey Lincoln of Beveridge leads the series by only 10 points infront of Brenten Farrer of Kilmore in second, and South Australian Jed Bell in third spot.
Blue Ribbon Raceway opened for the first night of racing for the season on Sunday. A large crowd of about 550 people attended the Kalkee speedway to witness the third round of AMCA Action Series.
AMCA racing was contested across two heats, which decided the starting positions for the final race.
Kalkee’s Blue Ribbon Raceway will return to life on the 27th of December when
Horsham Motor Sports Club will commence its race season.
The evening will feature the third round of the V8 AMCA Action Series, which has been hotly contested with the podium being shared by Dean Heseltine of Lancefield and Jamie Collins of Geelong winning the previous two rounds respectively.
